Have been busy, what else, but have four free days over this easter weekend.

and what happens, it's almost freezing here today. Temp inching up from 35ºF this afternoon. Rain too. I thought the furnace was not going to fire up until next winter. I'd already had the AC kick in once or twice because of high temps and humidity lately.

Working in my chilly studio trying to finish a 5x7" painting for ArtHouse benefit.

Allergies hit me hard this past week. Haven't been swimming all week and now the rain and cold. Maybe tomorrow after a brunch and getting completed 7X7's to Okay Mountain.

Watched Castaway last night on satellite. Haven't rented a movie lately with daylight savings added hour for reading outside on front porch.

Last nights film was The Fury. A flawed violent thriller but it kept my attention.

Rainy day, started painting and car repair shop calls and tells me they need key to my glove box in order to get to some part behind it. Money comes and money goes even more this time of year. Between photo finishing, tree car and truck maintenance Hoping for a big tax refund. Anyway I start walking to the shop and it starts pouring. Ran back to the house and got umbrella. Rain stops and I walk a bit wet. Rushed back because I was expecting Sterling at 10. Got back to the studio and ten minutes later he arrived with seven 7x7 collaborative drawing starts for me and also Dan's share plus a drawing he had purchased. Figured out a strategy for one and began. Others are going to take some serious inspiration.


It's raining on and off here, light to heavy. There is talk about possible hail (stay way from my roof).

Stuck inside until I get the truck back. Studio time, painting away.
